It's the busiest brew month of the year. We get that, and we know that next week is going to destroy most of the remaining livers we collectively possess.
BUT! it's also still regular meeting time for Baltibrew at Dionysus at 8 p.m. tomorrow night and we have a lot of stuff to get worked out. We'll be meeting on the second floor again this month. While there's work to be done, we'll have a ton of homebrew to taste as well.
Agenda:
- Chilibrew VI
- Guild Holiday Party planning
- Guild meeting recap
- November Group Brew (Mead mazing?)
- Baltimore Beer Week
- Upcoming Events (Gruit comp, etc.)
- Member homebrew sampling

Below you will find the minutes, instructions for good sanitation/cleaning (that we went over during the meeting), as well as various info on competitions coming up. We had a great June meeting (with great beer shared by everyone) and i have highlighted the important stuff to remember:
- The July brew will be a Biere De Garde brewed at John Jesters House (directions forthcoming) on July 14th and will be lead by John and Mike Pietro. BE THERE for what's sure to be a good time.
- SIGN UP FOR WORT for the July brew! (in the comments please)
- Be sure to keep MASHOUT in mind for aug. 17-19 at Rocky Gap, MD. We would like to have a great baltibrew turnout, and it's an amazing beer event that has to be seen to be believed. The only req't. is you bring at least 5 gallons of brew to share.

Well folks, it's April regular meeting time, and this one will be a doozy.
Usual time: 8pm
Usual place: Dionysus.
On the agenda:
- Chilibrew V
- Big Brew/May Brew (what are we brewing? how much? who's brewing?)
- Any other upcoming events?
- Education topic: Water Profiles
Whether you're coming to Chilibrew or not, we are in need of extension cords and/or power strips. Bring any you can spare to the meeting and deliver them to Steve Hulbert, who will label your items, and ensure they are promptly returned to you following the event.
Be prepared to pay dues if you haven't already, and as always you are welcome to bring homebrew to share after business is concluded. (Which is not to say you shouldn't purchase beers to drink during business from our fine hosts at Dionysus.)

We're meeting this Thursday, March 15th, 8p.m. at our new Dionysus spot.
On the agenda:
- Clone Wars 2012: Are we brewing collectively for this? If so, how much, and where should we do it? Gotta' do it asap, since the deadline is 4/1.
- Chilibrew V: Chilibrew subcommittee will provide a status update, and we will begin assigning volunteer staff assignments
- March Brew Wrapup: We'll go over how it went, talk about how we can improve process, and solidify what went well.
- March Guild Meeting Report: John Jester will let us know how this past Monday's Guild meeting went.
- May Brew/Big Brew: We'll discuss the May brew, and whether we ought to do it @ Big Brew with all the other clubs.
- Mashout: We'll go over dates, talk about who is going to go, and what we need to do to rule Mashout the way we rule every other event we're part of.
- Texas Independence Day Chili Cookoff Prize: We'll discuss how we're hooking up this lucky prizewinner with a day of Brew-ed Baltibrew style.
As always, bring homebrew if ya got it for after meeting tasting, and let us know if you have anything else to add to the agenda.

Ch-ch-ch-changes. Baltibrew's February monthly meeting moves to a new venue and new date: Dionysus Restaurant and Lounge at 8 East Preston Street in Mount Vernon/Station North tomorrow at our usual 8 p.m. start time.
Not quite sure which floor we'll be meeting on, but look/ask someone, and I'm sure you'll find us without much difficulty.
As usual, feel free to bring homebrew. The treasurer will be collecting dues, so come prepared for that if you need to pay up (and we all pretty much need to pay up).
Basic agenda so far is:
- Baltibrew's presence at Max's 2012 Belgian Beer Fest.
- January Guild Meeting report.
- January Brew Day Recap/Kevin's departure.
- March Brew day. When? What? (Matt McCann has agreed to host.)
- Chilibrew V. April 22nd @ Baltimore Free Farm.

Quick reminder that we'll be meeting on 11-3; 8p.m. at Alewife. That's tomorrow.
In addition to this Thursday's meeting, we have been invited to Wootown's annual Mead mazing at the home of Lloyd and Ruth-Ann Snyder. This is a bit of a hike up to White Hall, MD, but it's always a good time and an interesting opportunity to interact with another club, see how they brew, see how they conduct business, and also to take home some mead. Cost for a fermenter is usually around $30, so bring cash or your checkbook. I'll try to give a specific amount before the date.
Agenda after the jump.
